FAQs
PARKING
We’ve a small car park just to the right of the pub. Spaces are limited, so please use the marked bays. If you’ve had to block someone in, just let us know at the bar and we’ll let them know when they’re heading off. If you’re parking on the street, please be considerate of our neighbours.
One important note – please don’t park directly outside the pub entrance, as that’s kept clear for disabled access.
DISABLED ACCESS
Yes, indeed. Entry is on a bit of a slope, so if you’d like a hand, please do let one of our team know as we are happy to help! We’ve also a disabled bathroom inside.
DOGS
Dogs are very welcome throughout the pub – in fact, we love having them around. We simply ask they’re kept on leads. You’ll find water bowls dotted around the pub and if they’re lucky, some brewers’ grain treats on the bar.
TUESDAYS
Our kitchen is closed on Tuesdays. Instead, a food truck sets up in the car park from 5:30pm – 8:00pm. The food truck changes each week, so check our Instagram (@hoppoleinn) or ask at the bar to see who’s cooking next.
EVENTS
From supper clubs, skiffle nights and comedy evenings to live music, book clubs and quiz nights, we like to host an array of events! Please check our events page on our website www.hoppoleinn.uk for an updated events list.
We also host private occasions – birthdays, weddings, wakes, christenings, to name a few. If you’d like to plan something, or have an idea for what we should do next, please email events@hoppoleinn.uk
THE COMMUNITY ROOM
Our Community Room is free to use outside of lunch and dinner service hours. Perfect for clubs, meetings or a good old natter. To book, email events@hoppoleinn.uk or speak to George at the bar.
HOTEL CAR PARK
Don’t do it! We’re not linked to the hotel opposite and their car park is for hotel guests only.
COMMUNITY PUB SHARES
The Hop Pole Inn reopened in January 2025 thanks to the remarkable efforts of our local community, shareholders far and wide, and a small army of volunteers. If you’d like to be part of this story, shares are still available. Email limpleystokecbs@gmail.com or visit the Save The Hop Pole Project at www.limpleystokecbs.org
STAFF
If you fancy being part of the Hoppie team, we’d love to hear from you. We’re always on the lookout for enthusiastic people to join us. Please pop your CV over to hireme@hoppoleinn.uk
