From the team behind the Hop Pole Inn, Scrumpet is our traditional butcher’s shop and kitchen in The Shambles, Bradford on Avon.
Scrumpet is a natural extension of everything we believe in at the Hop Pole: thoughtful sourcing, proper craft and a deep respect for British farming.
Rooted in Family Farming
Charlie grew up on Great Ashley Farm, a fourth-generation family beef farm specialising in grass-fed native cattle.
Scrumpet champions that same grass-fed beef and lamb, alongside high-quality free-range chicken, pork, game and carefully sourced meats from trusted farms across Wiltshire.

Located in The Shambles, Scrumpet brings traditional, community-focused butchery back to the town.
